ABOUT US
Our Mission
We are a family owned & operated dairy that exists to glorify God through the stewardship of the soil and animals He has entrusted to our care, in the best possible way.

Our Farm
Twin Brook Creamery is nestled in the shadow of the Cascade Mountain Range in Lynden, Washington. The freshly renovated bottling facility processes milk from our own Jersey cows. We strive to be the best possible stewards of the land, providing wildlife habitat and using best management practices.

Our Cows
We raise our own purebred registered Jersey cows. Jerseys produce milk with a higher protein and butterfat content, greatly enhancing the flavor. We use no hormones to stimulate artificial growth or milk production, giving us happy healthy cows and the most natural milk a cow can produce. We pasture our cows for as long as the growing season allows and we feed them the grass that we harvest from our land during the non growing season. We use no commercial fertilizers to grow our crops as the nutrients needed for crop growth is supplied by the cows.

Twin Brook Creamery is in the business of supplying a fresh wholesome milk product to our customers. To that end, Twin Brook Creamery pledges to our customers to not treat our animals with the artificial growth hormone known as rbst.

The FDA has stated that there is no known difference in the milk from animals treated with BST and animals that are not.

This is a policy of Twin Brook Creamery and to that end, is not a statement saying that rbst cannot be used by other dairy farms not associated with Twin Brook Creamery. The customer is encouraged to make informed decisions on this subject which will then help them in purchasing products for the consumption.

Our Family
Our founder, Jacob Stap, established this Lynden dairy in 1910. The farm was then bought by each succeeding generation. When Larry and Debbie Stap were joined in the family business by daughter Michelle Tolsma and her husband Mark, we decided it was time to bottle our own milk to generate more income, rather than expand the size of the dairy. Five generations after Jacob got his start, the Stap family is still producing wholesome 100% Jersey cow milk for our local customers.

"My wife would only drink organic soy, but now after tasting it she is drinking cow's milk from Twin Brook."
